Larry Schiller signs

Emmy winner Larry Schiller, a noted American film director, producer and writer,  joins forces with Solar to Exec Produce our debut movie ‘8 Days With Hopper’. Larry has worked with the likes of  Paul Newman,  Dustin Hoffman, Mario Puzo and Dennis Hopper in an amazing career so far. Larry directed  the Hopper film 'American Dreamer' in 1971 and the extended montage stills sequence and the opening credits in the Oscar laden 'Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid'. 

His understanding of the story and his relationship with Hopper makes him the perfect marriage for Solar.

Director Jon Dennis FORMS SOLAR CIRCLE PICTURES

Multi award winning director Jon Dennis, forms Solar Circle Pictures, with the aim to produce and direct not only his own projects but to develop scripts with people who fit with the independent 'Solar' spirit. His aim is to work with the best talent out there.

Jon started his career working on Gary Oldman’s  film ‘Nil By Mouth’ and other British movies before going onto film school. Upon graduation he was soon directing television promos for the BBC in the UK before joining Channel 4’s impressive roster of directors, amassing a number of coveted industry awards for his work. Moving into directing big budget commercials all over the globe for major international brands he continued receiving acclaim for his work.

producer erin gillette heads up the New York office

Producer Erin Gillette has many years experience working in commercials and film in the US and we are delighted she has joined the Solar team to head up our New York office. Her list of film credits is extensive and includes working with Tom Hardy on the epic ‘Warrior' and the Russell Crowe drama ‘The Next Three Days’.
